PepsiCo, the company behind popular brands such as Pepsi, Gatorade and Quaker Oats, released its second quarter results — numbers for the period April to June 2021. Here are a few key points you may find interesting.
The company made $19.2 billion in revenue, a 17% increase from the $15.9 billion it made in the same period last year. 55.7% of its revenue is from 2 units: PepsiCo North America and Fritolay North America.
Here is an even more interesting fact. 44.2% or $1.3 billion of the company’s operating profit came from Fritolay North America.

Not bad. However, it is done less compared to the NASDAQ index and the S&P 500 index. Those are up 13.61% and 16.93% respectively.
